Mission Statement for Parents and Carers

At Montsaye Academy, we are committed to ensuring every student receives high-quality, impartial Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) to prepare them for a successful future. We recognise the vital role that parents and next of kin play in guiding and supporting young people through important career decisions, and we aim to work in close partnership with families throughout this journey.

Our comprehensive careers programme provides individualised support to students across all year groups throughout the academic year. This ensures that each student is equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed choices about their future pathways in education, training or employment.

We also believe that informed and empowered parents can have a lasting impact on a young person’s career development. To support this, we provide:

• Dedicated careers information stands at Parents’ Evenings

• GCSE Options Information Evenings to help guide choices at critical transition points

• Regular updates through school newsletters and social media, keeping families informed of opportunities, events, and key guidance
