Under 8’s Policy
Due to the hazards associated with a swimming pool, we operate the following admission policy.
Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or adult (aged 16 or over) and supervised in the pool by that adult at all times.
Under 8s swimming policy: 1 adult can supervise up to 2 children under the age of 8 years, providing weak and non-swimmers wear an approved flotation device and stay within the non-swimmer line.
Changing Room Policy
Parents accompanying children to the pool are permitted to take under 8s into the ‘opposite sex’ changing room. Parents are only permitted to enter the changing room appropriate to their sex.
Example - Female parent/guardian with 7 year old boy can take him to use the female changing rooms.
Children aged 8 years and over are required to use the appropriate changing room.
An alternative changing area is also available for parents and children to use together. Please ask at reception.
