NPLQ Course

National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

The NPLQ course equips potential lifeguard candidates with the knowledge and necessary skills to deal with all swimming pool related emergencies (in and out of the water) and most importantly how to reduce life threatening situations from occurring. 

Course Dates

We are not currently hosting NPLQ courses at Montsaye. However, there are several sites locally to us that do offer this course. Details of these can be found by following the below link.

Pre-requisites

Candidates must be 16 years old.

Be able to:

Jump or dive into deep water.

Swim 50 meters on your front with in 60 seconds.

Surface dive to a depth of at least 1.5 meters.

Swim 100 meters on front then 100 meters on back without stopping, tread water for 30 seconds and climb out.
