Sixth Form Centre

At Montsaye Academy, our Sixth Form students have exclusive use of our dedicated Sixth Form Centre

Located in its own building separate to the rest of the school, Sixth Form students will benefit from a wide range of study spaces and facilities.

Upstairs, you will find a large, spacious study room, ideal for students to complete work in small groups in between their timetabled classes. The room is supervised during the day to maintain a productive learning environment. This room also has desktop PC’s for student use, a combi printer, photocopier and scanner, and a small post-18 resource library. There is also a separate Silent Study room for students who prefer to work individually. Finally, you will find a relaxing mezzanine area that can be used at break and lunchtimes, along with a self-catering kitchen and our Sixth Form Cafe facility (open at break and lunch).

Downstairs, the Centre benefits from a multi-purpose room. Part-time classroom, part-time additional study space, this room has a brand-new interactive whiteboard, and a second self-catering kitchen for break and lunch time use.

The Sixth Form Centre also houses the school’s Fitness Suite. All Sixth Form students are eligible for a free membership, enabling them to be able to use this facility after school and at the weekend.
